Sharon Mills Kindley

Sharon Mills Kindley, aged 82, of Lexington, NC, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2025, at Hinkle Hospice House. Born on December 22, 1942, in Lee County, MS, she was the daughter of James Logan Mills and Lillian Liza Weaver Mills.

Sharon dedicated much of her life to the textile industry, working at Burlington Industries. She had attended Pleasant Grove Church in Denton and also attended Second Reformed Church in Lexington.

She was predeceased by her parents, her son-in-law Martin Robert Leach, granddaughter Sharon Alice Leach, sister and brother-in-law Martha and Ken Medlin, and brother Jimmy Mills.

Sharon leaves behind a loving family, including her son Jeff Glover, daughters Cathy Forbes (Greg) and Leisha Leach, and sister Pat Fine. She was a cherished grandmother to Justin Blalock (Loeva), Wesley Blalock (Whitney), Bryan Blalock (Bridget), Kelly Leach (Todd Riley), and Bill Leach, and a beloved great-grandmother to Hayden, Jacob, Logan, Emery, Brandun, Lilly, and Kelsea. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
