Sharon Marie Kennedy Goodwin, 58, of Leach Rd., Candor, died Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at her residence. Graveside Service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Candor Cemetery, with Rev. Buddy Maness officiating. Born in Montgomery County on May 10, 1963, she was the daughter of Bobby Kennedy and Barbara Luther Chappell. She was a member of Community Baptist Church, a proud me-me and a homemaker. Sharon is survived by her husband, Butch Goodwin of the home; 2 daughters, Kassie Rushing (Caleb) of Troy and Kristin Thompson (Adam) of Candor; 2 step-brothers, Wilbert Chappell of Star and James Chappell of Rockingham; her mother and step-father, Barbara and Jimmy Chappell of candor; mother-in-law, Jeanette Goodwin of Candor; sister-in-law, Tammy Goodwin of Candor; 3 grandchildren, Harley Thompson, Lane Thompson, and Kennedy Rushing.
