Sarah Glover

Mrs. Sarah Jarrell Clinard Glover, 93, formerly of E. Old HWY 64, Lexington, passed away on Friday, Jan. 1, 2021 at Mountain Vista Health Park in Denton.

A graveside service will be held at Cid United Methodist Church Cemetery on Wednesday, Jan. 6 at 1:00 pm conducted by Rev. Brad Treece.

Sarah was born on October 14, 1927 in Randolph County to William E. Jarrell and Alma Abigail Hunt Jarrell. She was a member of New Pierce’s Chapel Church where her father was a minister. She was retired from Bossong Hosiery in Asheboro. In addition to her parents Sarah was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Carey Clinard; her second husband, Richard Leon Glover; and brothers, Troy, Richard, and John Jarrell.

She is survived by sons, Dr. Mike Clinard and wife Claudia of Charlotte and Danny Clinard and wife Cathy of Myrtle Beach, SC; 4 grandchildren, Dr. Scott Michael Clinard, Nicholas Clinard, Brandy C. Gamboa, and Tiffany C. Larson; 8 great-grandchildren, Finley Clinard, Collins Clinard, Chloe Clinard, Peyton Clinard, Victoria Larson, Nick Larson, A.J. Gamboa, and Matthew Gamboa.
