Sandra Pierce Adams

Sandra Pierce Adams, 62 of Garner Road, Denton died Wednesday, March 14 at Kindred Hospital in Greensboro. Mrs. Adams was born December 5, 1944 in Davidson County to Joe and Beulah Lambeth Pierce. She was a retired Dietary Aide with Mountain Vista Health Park in Denton. Mrs. Adams was predeceased by her husband Tharen Adams who died in 1997. She was a member of Walter’s Grove Baptist Church. Surviving are her daughter Sherry Shepherd and husband Roy of Denton and Samantha Harris and husband Kim of Osburn, Idaho; her mother Beulah Pierce of Asheboro; brother Eugene Pierce of Asheboro; sister Betty Sue Hill of Asheboro; grandchildren Brandon Shepherd, Whitney Harris, Ryan Harris, Alisha Harris Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday at Walter’s Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Jeremy Simpson and Rev. Kim Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the residence on Garner Road.
