Mrs. Sammie Hawk Davis age 82 formerly of Old Lexington Rd., Winston Salem died Tuesday, November 6 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday at Pine Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Scott Davis and Rev. Kelly Creekmur. Mrs. Davis was born January 1, 1930 in Greene County, Tennessee to Alford Roy Hawk and Mabel Keicher Hawk. She had worked as a restaurant manager and was preceded in death by her husband Dave Davis. Mrs. Davis is survived by her son; Mark Davis and wife Terri of Sanford, grandson; Tyler Scott Davis, brother; Billy J. Hawk of Greenville, TN., and by sister; Glenna Woolsey of Greenville, TN..
