Sallie Ann Rush

Sallie Ann Rush, 82, formerly of Graham Rd., Candor, died Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Autumn Care of Biscoe.  Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home Chapel, with Revs. Jack Phillips and Michael Free officiating.  Burial will follow in Sardis United Methodist Church Cemetery.   Born in Montgomery County on July 28, 1936, she was the daughter of Charlie Emerson and Lizzie Baldwin Rush.   She is survived by a sister, Mildred Treece of Candor.   The family will receive friends from 1:30 – 2:00 PM prior to the service on Thursday at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home.   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tabernacle Baptist Church, PO Box 400, Candor NC  27229 or to Sardis UMC, 1478 NC Hwy 731 East, Candor NC  27229.
