Ruth Hill

Mrs. Ruth Ausband Hill, age 93 formerly of Denton, NC died Saturday, December 19 in Clemmons. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 22 at Central United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Jack Yarborough and Rev. Benny Clodfelter . Burial will follow in Denton Town Cemetery. Mrs. Hill was born in Forsyth County to C. Clarence Ausband and Estelle Crowell Ausband. She moved to Denton to teach elementary education where she met and married J. Edward (Ed) Hill who preceded her in death. She moved to Bermuda Run in 1982. She is survived by sons, William Hill of Marietta Ga.; David Hill of Bermuda Run and Alan Hill of Petersburg, Va.; brothers, John Ausband of Beaufort, SC, Henry Ausband of Asheville, Robert Ausband of Gainesville, Fl., Sam Ausband of Winston-Salem, David Ausband of Dunwoody, Ga and a sister Ann of Richmond, Va. 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. The family will see friends at Central United Methodist Church one hour before the service on Tuesday. Briggs Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
