Ruth Barringer

Ruth Elizabeth Bangle Barringer, 83, of Yates Rd. Denton died Friday, August 12, 2011. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Monday, August 15 at Community Baptist Church with Rev. Brian Workman officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will see friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Sunday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the residence of her son 2164 Yates Rd. Denton. Mrs. Barringer was born November 1, 1927 in Cabarras County to Dorthea Bangle and Wilma Cruse Bangle. She worked in textiles and was a member of Community Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Edmond Barringer, 4 sons, Bobby Barringer, Lloyd Barringer, John Barringer, and Charles Barringer and by her daughter, Janet Barringer. Survivors include, son; Ricky Barringer of Denton, daughter; Elizabeth Nunley, brother; Ray Bangle of Millingport, 13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
