Russell Leon Thompson

Mr. Russell Leon Thompson age 80, of South Main St. Ext. Denton died Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Mr. Thompson was born March 4, 1933 in Essex County, Massachusetts to Leon M. Thompson and Anna O’Brien Thompson. He worked as Postmaster with the US Postal Service and was a veteran of the US Navy. He was preceded in death by his wife; Dawn Eileen Alosi Thompson. Survivors include, daughters; Janice Eldredge and husband Steven of Denton and Michelle Rousseau of Massachusetts, son; John Thompson and wife Kathy of Massachusetts, sister; Judith Lahue of Massachusetts, grandchildren; (6) Julie McLaren of Massachusetts, Sarah Kneiss of Denton, Kelly Rousseau of Connecticut, Gerard Rousseau of New Jersey, Katie Miller and Tyler Thompson both of Massachusetts, and 6 great grandchildren.
