Mr. Russell Lee Pullum age 63 of Stokes Rd., Denton died Friday, November 29, 2013 at FirstHealth Montgomery Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 4 at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel conducted by Rev. Rick Shoemaker. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the residence on Stokes Rd. Mr. Pullum was born November 5, 1950 in Davidson County to Henry Lee Pullum and Wilda Mae Billings Pullum. He worked as a upholster and was preceded in death by his parents and by a sister Janet Gale Gunner. Survivors include, wife; Jackie Woodlief Pullum of the home, son; Christopher Woodlief of Asheboro, daughters; Stacy Pullum of Denton and Julia Pullum of Trinity, brothers; Dale Pullum of VA, Rodney Pullum of Thomasville, and Artley Pullum of Denton, and sister; Janie Hedrick of Denton, 4 grandchildren; Caleb Neal McCoy, Heather Pullum, Billy Pullum, and Chasity Smith.
