Ruby Latham Spivey, 80, of Lindsey Dr., died Thursday, April 24, 2014 at her residence. Graveside Service will be 4:00 PM Sunday, April 27, 2014 at Southside Cemetery in Troy, with Rev. Chip Bryant and Mr. Richard Lynthacum officiating.Mrs. Spivey was born February 13, 1934 in Montgomery County, the daughter of William Earl and Bertha Lynthacum Latham. She was retired from Capel Mills.She is survived by 2 sons, Paul Ray Spivey and Rodney Lynn Spivey, both of Troy; 4 daughters, Patsy Varney of Troy, Demetrice Eubanks of Lexington, Paula Fay Spivey of Troy and Lucille Castin of Winabow, NC; brother, Tony Latham of Marion, OH; 2 sisters, Peggy Schitter of Tiffin, OH and Beauton Babcock of Sycamore, OH; 18 Grandchildren; 8 Great-grandchildren.The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Saturday at Briggs Funeral Home in Troy and other times at the residence.Briggs Funeral Home of Troy is in charge of arrangements.
