Ruby Nance

Mrs. Ruby Grubb Nance, age 83 of Crousetown Road, Lexington, NC died Friday, March 24 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Mrs. Nance was born August 18, 1922 in Davidson County to Frank Grubb and Effie Lambeth Grubb. She was a retired employee of Singer Hosiery Mill in Thomasville. She was married to Raeford Lee Nance who died in 1967. She was also preceded in death by sisters, Bertha Harrison, Fallie Loflin and Pallie Bunting. She is survived by a son Paul Loflin of Lexington, a daughter, Wanda Loflin of Denton and brothers Troy Grubb and Clifford Grubb both of Lexington A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday at Cedar Springs Cemetery conducted by Rev. Billy Joe Yates with interment to follow. VISITATION: The family will see friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the residence on Crousetown Road.
