Ruby Dennis Clontz

Ruby Elaine Dennis Clontz, 94, formerly of Valley Mine Rd., Lexington, NC passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at Pine Acres Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Lexington.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Ruby was born in Montgomery County, NC to Jesse Dennis and Mary Maude Maness Dennis. She was a member of Grubb’s Grove Church of God and had worked in the furniture industry at Council Craftsman Furniture. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Eddie Clontz and by 2 brothers Carmie and Edward Dennis.

She is survived by sons, Jerry Clontz and Tommy Clontz of Lexington; a daughter, Janet Wright of Lexington; 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
