Roy Roberts

Roy Alvin Roberts, 83, of Garner Rd., Denton, NC passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024, at Lexington Medical Center.

A private burial will be held at Mountain View Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Roberts was born August 22, 1940, in Sullivan County, TN to Teddy Lee Roberts and Elsie Maude Herron Roberts. He worked for Mid-State Tile and was a brick layer. He was a member of Freedom Baptist Church, Lexington. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Irene Huffman Roberts, daughter, Teresa Ann Everhart, granddaughter, Amber Everhart, brother, Herbert Haskil Roberts, sisters, Louise, Pauline, and Ada Mae.

He is survived by daughter, Becky Arthur (Vincent) of Denton; 2 grandchildren, Megan Snider (Lee) of CA and Ashley Burton (Derrick) of Trinity; 4 great-grandchildren, Kaylee Snider, Dante Snider, Sophie Burton, and Roselyn Burton; brother, Noah Lee Roberts of Dalton, GA; sister, Opal Faye Letterman of Johnson City, TN.
