Ronald "Termite" Sanders

Ronald William “Termite” Sanders, 49, formerly of McCallum Rd., Candor, died Thursday, March 3, 2011 at Tillery Chase in Mt. Gilead. A Memorial Service will be Sunday, March 6, 2011 at 3:00 PM at Parsons Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Arnold Saunders officiating. A covered dish pot luck supper will follow the service at the family’s request. Inurnment will be at a later date at McCallum Cemetery. A native of Montgomery County, Mr. Sanders was born April 17, 1961, the son of Hiram Kelly and Lena Campbell Sanders. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Troy and was a carpenter. He is survived by a son, Cody Sanders of Ramseur; 2 daughters, Kelly Sanders of Ramseur and Amber Sanders of Seagrove; his mother, Lena Sanders of Candor; a brother, Phillip Sanders of King; 2 sisters, Gloria Sanders Beech and Bonnie Sanders, both of Asheboro; 2 Grandchildren, Wyatt and Kacie Hazelwood. Briggs-Candor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
