Ronald Mabe

Mr. Ronald Dale Mabe age 69, of Fox Creek Dr., Lexington passed away Thursday, May 05, 2016 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Stoner’s Grove Baptist Church, 10470 NC Highway 8 in Southmont with Rev. Billy Pearson and Rev. Michael Mabe officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Gardens. Mr. Mabe was born April 5, 1947 in Forsyth County to Marion Wakefield Mabe and Viola Ridge Mabe. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a truck driver. Ronald was a member of Stoner’s Grove Baptist Church. In addition to his parents Ronald was also preceded in death by his son, Brian Ridge on May 15, 1994 and by a brother, Allen Ray Mabe. Surviving are wife, Diane Jackson Mabe of the home; daughters, Wendy Dolesh and husband David of Asheville and Tina Ann Cook and husband Brian of Thomasville; brother, Michael W. Mabe and wife Mary Ann of Trinity; sister, Shirley Dawkins of High Point; grandchildren, Austin Brian Coble, Chole Elizabeth Dolesh, and Dawson William Dolesh. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the residence on Fox Creek Dr., Lexington.
