Roger Lee Hedrick

Roger Lee Hedrick, 68, of Stokes Rd., Denton, NC, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at his residence. Born in Davidson County on September 1, 1956, he was the son of Robert Lee Hedrick and Leona Hughes Hedrick.

Roger will be remembered as a great husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a dedicated farmer and an avid outdoorsman with a passion for deer hunting and horses, from breaking them to riding and using them on the farm. He was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Leslie Hedrick, and sisters, Mary Jane Hedrick and Wanda Thompson.

He is survived by his loving wife, Janie Pullum Hedrick; daughters, Marcie Bennett and Mae Hayman and her fiancé James Sullivan; brothers, Ronald Dean Hedrick (Jeanette) and Jesse Lee Hedrick; sister, Darlene Plowman; four grandchildren, Dustin Tyler Billings, Lori Nicole Fender, Alexia Mae Wright, and Marcie Lynn Burrow; and a great-granddaughter, Emma Kate Kepley.
