Rodney Edgar Bailey, 64, of Samarcand Rd., Biscoe died Monday, Dec. 24 at his residence. Funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Friday, Dec. 28 at Briggs Candor Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Cynthia Ranson officiating burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Candor. Mr. Bailey was born August 4, 1943 in Moore County to Ralph Edgar Bailey and Carrie Hartsell Bailey. He was a Truck driver for Candor Oil Company. Survivors include his wife, Lillian Mae Bailey of the home, daughters, Karen Bruce of Ether and Amy Glover of Troy, brother Danny Bailey of St. Pauls, and sister Katherine Williams of Troy, and 3 grandchildren. The family will see friends on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Briggs Candor Funeral Home and other times at the residence on Samracand Rd.
