Robert Yates

Mr. Robert Lee Yates age 62 of Lexington died Monday, August 22 at Brookstone Rest Home in Lexington. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Mr. Yates was born November 17, 1948 in Davidson County to Carl Yates and Alta Varner Yates. He was a veteran of the U S Army and a retired residential construction worker. He is survived by a son, Scottie J. Yates of Denton, brothers, Don Yates of Pooles, Ga and Ricky Yates of Memphis, Tenn.; sisters Joan Kaminski of Colorado and Carlene Kimball of Salisbury; and 2 grandchildren.
