Robert Perry

Mr. Robert William (Bob) Perry, age 89 of Pekin Road, Candor, NC died Sunday, January 24 at Autumn Care of Biscoe. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, January 26 at Blackwood Chapel Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Gary McNeill and Rev. Kevin Thompson. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Mr. Perry was born April 16, 1920 in Union County to Mark Perry and Mae Williams Perry. He was a member of Blackwood Chapel Baptist Church and a retired carpenter. He was married to Lillian Campbell Perry who died March, 2006. Mr. Perry is survived by a son, Steve Perry of Southern Pines; a daughter Linda Thompson of Troy, four (4) grandchildren and five (5) great grandchildren. The family will see friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence on Pekin Road.
