Robert L Loflin

Mr. Robert Leon Loflin, age 78 of Sparta, NC and formerly of Denton died Saturday, October 30 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, November 2 at Mountain View Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Ronnie Timmons. Mr. Loflin’s body will lie in state at Briggs Funeral Home from 11:30 until 12:30 Tuesday prior to the graveside service. Mr. Loflin was born in Davidson County February 28, 1943 to Robert Eavens Loflin and Ruth Hunt Loflin. He was a graduate of Pfeiffer University and had been employed in sales to the Hotel/Motel Industry. He was preceded in death by a daughter Lisa Loflin King. He is survived by his wife, Faye Pierce Loflin; a son, Robert L. Loflin, Jr and fiancee Janet of Thomasville; 2 grandchildren, Ben King and Emily King and 3 great grandchildren.
