Robert Lamonds

Mr. T. Robert Lamonds, age 93 of Cole Road, Candor, NC died Saturday, Nov. 7 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, November 10 at Macedonia Presbyterian Church conducted by Rev. Edsel Huffstettler. Burial with Military Honors by the Randolph County Memorial Honor Guard will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Lamonds was born May 26, 1916 in Montgomery County to Neill Archibal Lamonds and Barbara Ellen Britt Lamonds. He was a member of Macedonia Presbyterian Church and a World War II Veteran of the U. S. Army Air Corp. He was a retired truck driver and produce dealer. He is survived by a brother N. Alton Lamonds and a sister Hazel Dawkins both of Candor and by a number of Nieces and Nephews. The family will see friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence of the sister at 482 McCallum Pond Road, Candor, NC
