Robert Hulin

Mr. J. Robert Hulin, 82, of Hulin-McDowell Rd., Denton, NC passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at his residence.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, March 14, at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Jody Harrison officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the service at the church.

Robert was born in Randolph County on January 22, 1940, the son of O.J. Hulin and Eula Hill Hulin. He worked for many years as a wood carver and always had a passion for farming. He attended Bethel Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents Robert was also preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Davis Hulin and a son, Michael Hulin.

He is survived by son, Mark Hulin and wife Kim of Denton; daughter-in-law, Terri Hulin of Staley; sisters, Mona Hughes and husband Robbie and Sallie Hulin all of Denton; grandchildren, Kevin Hulin (Carla), Hailey Wood (Allen), Hannah Staley (Doug), Cassie Lewallen (Zac), Kayla Williams (Cody), Jarrett Hulin and fiancée, Skyler Ferguson; step-grandson, Dalton Hulin; great-grandchildren, Kinlin Hulin, Camden Hulin, Kallie Hulin, Oakley Williams, Aubrey Wood, and Karlee Lewallen.
