Robert Leon Hill

Mr. Robert Leon Hill, age 75 of Lanier Hill Road, Denton, NC died Sunday, February 2 at Autumn Care of Biscoe.

A funeral service will be held 3:00 pm on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at New Hope United Methodist Church with Rev. Bobby Lorton and Rev. Claudie Harrison officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Hill was born December 13, 1944 in Davidson County to Clarence Edward Hill and Grace Violet Surratt Hill. He was retired from Council Craftsman Furniture where he worked as a line leader.

In addition to his parents Leon was preceded in death by sisters, Joan Maness, Nettie Morris, and Lois Joyce; brothers, Allen and Earl Hill.

He is survived by his wife, Arlie Lima Hill of the home; son, Robert Edward Hill; step-daughter, Kimberly Aguirre of Denton; sisters, Joyce Lambert of Asheboro and Linda Cook of Denton.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2:00 to 3:00 pm at New Hope United Methodist Church and other times at the residence.
