Robert Heidenreich

Robert Edward Heidenreich, 80, of Rosalyn Glen Rd., Cornelius, formerly of Denton, went to be with his Lord on Thursday, August 18, 2016 in Cornelius. The funeral service will be at 11:00 am Monday at Summerville Baptist Church in Denton, NC with Rev. Flynn Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Born in Cleveland, Ohio on July 5, 1936, he was the son on Edward “Duke” and Dorothy (Hemmeter) Heidenreich. He was a Chief Contract Engineer with BP Oil. Mr. Heidenreich was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Lee Heidenreich. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Evelyn (Lynne) Doris Field Heidenreich; 3 daughters, Karen Lynne Lemonds of Arcadia, FL, Kathy Anne Wikoff and husband, Walter of Middletown, DE, and Beth Ellen Kalaf and husband Randy of Waxhaw, NC, and 4 grandchildren, Matthew Wikoff, Chelsea Weaks, Sara Kalaf, and Brice Kalaf. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Sunday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Baptist Children's Homes of NC, P.O.
