Robert Harris

Robert Hayes Harris, 84, of Old Hwy. 109, Lexington, died Monday, Jan. 28, at Thomasville Medical Center. Funeral service will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Fairview United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Doug Rowe and the Rev. Alvin Pope officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. He was a farmer all of his life and was a lifelong member of Fairview United Methodist Church. Surviving are sisters, Mary Noble Harris Parker and Willie Harris Lewis, both of Lexington. The family will be at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton, 12 noon-1:30 p.m., Thursday, and other times at the home.
