Robert Neal “Bob” Cagle, aged 83, of New Hope Rd. Denton, NC, passed away peacefully at his residence on Thursday, May 1, 2025. Born on April 22, 1942, in Randolph County, he was the beloved son of Willie Dyle Cagle, Sr. and Ila Staley Cagle.
Bob honorably served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a dedicated member of Bethel Baptist Church in Denton. His career spanned the furniture industry, and he later contributed his skills to Terrell Brothers Mfg.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Louise Garner Cagle, his parents, his stepmother Martha Dorsett Cagle, and his brother Jerry Wayne Cagle.
Bob is survived by his sons, Neal Reid Cagle and his wife Mary, and Brent Wade Cagle and his wife Donna. He also leaves behind his brother, Willie “Bill” Dyle Cagle, Jr., and cherished grandchildren, Hannah Clark, Tabitha Clark, Rachel Clark, Mariah Clark, Isiah Clark, Stephen Cagle and his wife Alex, and Kevin Cagle, along with four great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Bob's life will be held on Saturday, May 10, at 2:00 PM at Bethel Baptist Church in Denton, officiated by Rev. David Lancaster. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 prior to the service.
