Robert M. Bennett

Robert M. Bennett, 71, of Carrollton VA, died Wednesday, Novvember 1, 2006 in Virginia. Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Sunday, November 5, 2006 at Marcus United Methodist Church with Rev. Don Burns officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A native of Jackson Springs, Mr. Bennett was born December 12, 1934, the son of Jasper C. and Daisy Smith Bennett. Mr. Bennett was a veteran of the US Army. Mr. Bennett is survived by his wife, Betty of the home, a daughter, Kathryn, a son, David and his wife Debbie, brother, Ether of Jackson Springs; 4 grandchildren. The Bennett family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 PM Saturday at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home in Candor.
