Ricky Pete Beasley

Ricky Pete Beasley, 57 of Dogwood Drive, New London died Friday at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle after a six month illness. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Mr. Beasley was born November 25, 1948 in Virginia to Pete Beasley and Gladys Beasley. He was a self-employed furniture salesman and flea market vendor for ten years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joy Beasley who passed away in January 2006, an infant son Ricky Beasley, Jr and two brothers; Jerry Beasley and Leon Beasley. Survivors include a daughter Dawn Renee Beasley of Greensboro;a step-son Terry Ray Hardin of Lexington;one brother Jimmy Beasley and wife Billie of Winston-Salem;sister Peggy Farabee and husband Leo of High Point;one grandchild Amber Shipman of Greensboro and two step grandchildren.
