Richard Lloyd White,Sr.

Mr. Richard Lloyd White, Sr. age 70 of Pinecrest Road, Lexington, NC died Monday, January 15, 2018 at CMC North East in Concord.   A funeral service will at 11:00 am Saturday, Jan. 20 at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Eddie Hill presiding. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Denton Town Cemetery.   Mr. White was born September 9, 1947 in Davidson County to Robert Byrd White and Grace Miller White. He was a US Army Veteran having served during the Vietnam War. He worked as foreman in concrete construction and of Methodist faith. Richard enjoyed fishing, hunting, and wood working. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, Bob, Glenn, Charles, and James White and sister, Judith Seabolt.   He is survived by wife, Rana Sexton White of the home; son, Richard White, Jr. of Erwin; grand-daughter, Alexandera White; sisters, Peggy Trudeau of Williston, FL and Vicki Buie of Delton, FL.   The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the residence.   Online condolences may be made at www.briggsfuneralhome.com
