Richard Cecil Spivey

Richard Cecil Spivey, 55, of Post Office Rd., Biscoe, died Monday, December 09, 2013 at his residence. Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Thursday at Briggs Funeral Home in Troy, with Pastors Chip Bryant and Frank Owens officiating. Burial will follow in the Biscoe Cemetery. Mr. Spivey was born January 26, 1958, in Montgomery County, the son of Ruby Louise Latham and Roby Cecil Spivey. He was a truck driver. He is survived by his wife, Patricia K. Spivey of the home; his mother, Ruby Louise Latham Spivey of Troy; 2 brothers, Rodney Spivey and Paul Spivey, both of Candor; a half-brother, Robert Spivey of Fayetteville; 3 sisters, Patsy Varner of Troy, Demetrius Eubanks of Lexington and Paula Faye Spivey of Troy; a half-sister, Lucille Costin of Winnabow, NC. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday at Briggs Funeral Home in Troy and other times at his mother’s residence on Lindsey Drive.
