Richard Ransom Ingram, Jr.

Richard Ransom Ingram, Jr., 80, of Rollingview, Rd., New London, NC passed away on Monday, September 09, 2024, at Carolina Continue Care in Pineville.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date at Chandler’s Grove United Methodist Church (Global) where Richard was a member.

Mr. Ingram was born in Guilford County, NC to Richard Ransom Ingram, Sr., and Margaret Cecil Ingram both of which preceded him in death. He was a veteran of the United States Army and had worked for Thomas Built Buses as a welder and a parts clerk. Some hobbies that Richard enjoyed were, being on the lake boating and fishing, hunting, reading, and bird watching, especially hummingbirds.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Ramona Ellis Ingram of the home; 2 sisters, Frances Brown and Kay Sanders; and his and Ramona’s many fur babies.

In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to the American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org and clicking the donate tab, Chandler’s Grove UMC 2535 Blaine Rd., New London, NC 28127, an animal sanctuary, or to the donor’s favorite charity.
