Richard Leon Glover

Mr. Richard Leon Glover, 76, of E. Old Hwy 64, Lexington passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at Hinkle Hospice House.

A funeral service will be held 4:00 PM Sunday, Sept. 29 at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Richard Gould officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:30 to 3:30 prior to the funeral service at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton.

Mr. Glover was born in Davidson County on April 21, 1943 to Coolidge Glover and Allene Smith Glover. He was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. Richard had been employed with Davidson Water. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Sherry Downs.

Richard is survived by his wife, Sarah Jarrell Clinard Glover of Denton; step-sons, Michael Clinard of Charlotte and Danny Clinard of Myrtle Beach, SC; brother, Edward Glover of Denton; sister, Judy Soles of Denton; and 4 step-grandchildren.
