Richard Freeman

J. Richard Freeman age 72 of Tomlinson Street, Candor, NC died Tuesday, October 1 at his residence. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at Holly Mount Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Henry Jenkins. The family will see friends from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Friday at Holly Mount Baptist Church. Mr. Freeman was born April 6, 1941 in Montgomery County to Charlie Cecil Freeman and Annie Smith Freeman. He was a retired truck driver and was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Charlie C. Freeman. He is survived by his wife, Paula Haywood Freeman of the home; sons James Richard Freeman, Jr of Candor and Rodney Freeman of Mt. Gilead; daughters, Robin Ross of Candor, Ronda Jones and Reba Freeman both of Mt. Gilead; sisters, Dixie Williams of York, SC and Darlene Jessup of Lexington; 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren Briggs-Candor Funeral Home is serving the Family
