Remington "Remy" Cox

Remington “Remy” Carroll Cox age 20, of Chrisfield Court, Colfax died Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at Moses Cone Medical Center in Greensboro. A celebration of life service will be held 3:00 PM Saturday at Denton Wesleyan Church conducted by Rev. Charlie Collins, Rev. John Cranford and Mrs. Sara Elliott. Remy was born June 22, 1993 in Guilford County to Donald Wayne Cox and Dana Michele Carroll. He graduated salutatorian from South Davidson High School Class of 2011. He worked with his father at Oak Leaf Properties. Remy had a great passion for motocross, music, and his friends. Remy is survived by his father and step mother; Donald Wayne Cox and Carolyn of Colfax, his mother; Dana Michele Carroll of Asheboro, and maternal grandmother; Ronda Carroll of Denton, step brothers; Austin Rogers of the home and Dr. Jason Rogers of Austin, TX. In Lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation in Remy’s memory. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 PM Saturday prior to the service at Denton Wesleyan Church. Briggs Funeral Home in Denton is serving the Cox family.
