Timothy Reid Crouse, age 68, of Denton, NC passed away Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem following a brief illness. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 16 at Central United Methodist Church with Brett Chappell and Rev. Richard Blount officiating. The family will receive friends following the memorial service. Reid was born on May 23rd, 1953, in Davidson County, NC, to Aaron B. and Frances Whitt Crouse. He was a retired Field Representative for Maryland & Virginia Milk Producers Cooperative Association, Inc. Reid loved wood working and was known for making the best pound cakes in Denton. Reid enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, Mason, and Ellie. He especially loved to watch Mason play baseball. He is survived by his wife, Ann Andrews Crouse of the home; son, Cleve Crouse (Stacy) of Winston Salem; daughter, Carrie Crouse (Duane George) of Stokesdale; a brother, Craig Crouse (Gretchen) of Denton; a sister, Gale Ritchie (Gerald) of Albemarle; 2 grandchildren, Mason Crouse, and Ellie Crouse; 1 grand dog Zoey; and numerous nieces and nephews.
