Rebecca (Becky) Markham

Mrs. Rebecca (Becky) Futrell Greene Markham, age 91 of Vass died Tuesday, September 20 at her residence.

A  private graveside service will be held at Saturday, September 24 at Denton Town Cemetery in Denton.

Mrs. Markham was born June 16, 1931 in Montgomery County to Benson S Futrell, Sr.  and Susie Bruton Futrell.  She was the retired owner/operator of Futrell Brothers Lumber Company in Vass.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, James Bruton Futrell and Benson S. Futrell, Jr.

She is survived by a daughter  Sandy G. Patterson and husband Buster of Pinehurst; a son, Reid Greene and wife Paula of Vass; grandchildren, Nicole P Smiley, Stacy Patterson, Rebecca Greene and Melissa Greene; nephews, Benson S. Futrell, III and James Bruton Futrell.
