Rebecca (Becky) Parsons

Rebecca (Becky) Hodges Parsons, 56, of Ward Rd., Lexington died Friday, Nov. 23 at Lexington Memorial Hospital. A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, December 1, 2007 at Cedar Grove Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Mike Fritts. Mrs. Parsons was born October 31, 1951 in Avery County to Rev. Howard Thomas Hodges and Norma Coffey Hodges. She was a graduate of Davis Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. She retired as an addiction professional nurse from the Path of Hope. She was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a grand daughter Annalea Parsons. Mrs. Parsons is survived by her husband, Lloyd Parsons of the home; son, Matthew Parsons of Fletcher, Missouri; daughter Amanda Dawn Parsons of the home; sister Susan Hodges Bullard of Ft. Mill, SC; one grandson; 12 nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family ask memorials be made to Cedar Grove Baptist Church Building Fund in c/o Larry Jarvis, Treasure P.O.
