Raymond Gallimore

Raymond Wyatt Gallimore, age 75 of Jackson Creek Road, Denton died Friday, October 20 as a result of injuries in a tree accident. Mr. Gallimore was born March 28, 1931 in Davidson County to William Clyde Gallimore and Lula Pennell Gallimore. He was employed as a night watchman with Bossong Hosiery Mill in Asheboro and was a member of Piney Grove United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Adrena Garner Gallimore of the home, a son, Roger Gallimore and wife Janice of Lexington, a daughter Copnnie Metwally and husband Emad of Cherryville, a brother Sherman Gallimore of Ronake, Va. and sisters, Faye Gallimore of Thomasville, Betty Davis of Hickory, Joyce Gallimore of Denton and Glenda Scott of Greensboro. 4 Grandchildren A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday at Piney Grove United Methodist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will see friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times will be at the residence.
