Rayford Hill

Mr. Rayford Lee Hill age 76, of North Main St., Denton passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at High Point Regional Hospital. A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. James Cooper officiating. Interment will follow at Summerville Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Hill was born February 1, 1941 in Davidson County to Raymond Hill and Dorothy Hughes Hill. He ran a stacker at Central Lumber. In addition to his parents Rayford was preceded in death by his wife, Denie Workman Hill; daughter, Brenda Hill; brother, Loyd Hill; sister, Lois Self; and 2 grandsons, Timothy and Lamont Hill. Surviving are sons, Timmy Hill and Roger Hill both of Denton; brother, Ralph Hill of Thomasville; 6 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
