Ray "Buddy" Bernard Worrell

Mr. Ray Bernard “Buddy” Worrell age 70, of Troy Candor Rd., Troy died Monday, August 3, 2015 at his residence. A graveside inurnment will be held at 4 pm Friday at Baptist Chapel, 2413 Buckhorn Rd., Sanford, NC. Mr. Worrell was born March 25, 1945 in Lee County, NC to David Archie Worrell and Jeanette Thomas Worrell. Ray worked as Knitting Manager for Russ Knits, INC. Surviving are, wife, Nan Worrell of Star; daughters, Renee’ Ann Worrell-Samoil of PA and Heather Nicole Worrell of Star; brothers, Hugh Worrell of Broadway, Rex Worrell of Southern Pines, and Robert Worrell of Sanford; 2 grandchildren, Garrett Worrell and Brennen Worrell-Morgan.
