Raul Garay Soria, 62, of Candor-Troy Rd., died Friday, December 11, 2020 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Graveside Services will be 1:00 PM on Friday, December 18, 2020 at Biscoe Cemetery, with Father Ricardo Sanchez officiating. Please wear a mask and practice social distancing. Born in Dolores Hidalgo Gto Mexico on March 11, 1959, he was the son of Jose Leonor Garay Lopez and Andrea Soria Gutierrez. He was a member of Our Lady of the Americas Catholic Church and was owner/operator of Artesanias y Decoracione Garay with his wife. He is survived by his wife, Maria Merced Andrade Garay of the home; 3 sons, Raul Garay Andrade of Biscoe, Sergio Ulices Garay of Star, and Joel Garay of Greensboro; 2 daughters, Amelia Garay of Candor and Rita Garay of Texas; 6 brothers; 3 sisters; 6 Grandchildren, Liliana Maria Garay, Saul Garay, Jose Miguel Garay, Amy Garay, Calvin Garay and Adam Garay. Briggs-Candor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
