Randy Chappell

Mr. Randy Charles Chappell, 66, of Lanning-Craven Rd., Denton, NC passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at his residence. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 28 at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church with Brett Chappell, Rev. Chris Smith and Rev. Sandy Young officiating. Burial to follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens. Randy was born July 9, 1954 in Davidson County to Leo C. Chappell and Edith Craver Chappell. He was a member of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church. Randy was a logger and dairy truck driver. He is survived by son, Brett Chappell of Denton; daughter, Alyssa Yountz of Denton; grandchildren, Austin, Hailey and Gabby Yountz; and a sister, Tami Cookenboo of Vancouver, Canada. The family will receive friends from 1 – 2 pm prior to the service at Chapel Hill UMC.
