Ralph William Gallimore

Ralph William Gallimore, 84, of Denton, NC, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2025, at his residence. Born on April 28, 1941, in Davidson County, he was the son of Aster Ralph Gallimore and Pauline “Polly” Ridge Gallimore. Ralph graduated from Denton High School in 1959 and was of the Baptist faith. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for 27 years before working as a truck driver for Schneider Transportation.

Ralph is survived by his loving family: his son, Scott Gallimore and his wife Lisa; his daughter, Starla Fairfield and her husband Lenny; his beloved wife, Katherine “Kitty” Steed Lineberry Gallimore; his brother, Ronnie Gallimore and his wife Suzanne; his sister, Kathy Nance and her husband Jeff; and his cherished grandchildren, Chandler Gallimore, Connor Gallimore, Colby Gallimore, Mia Fairfield, Noah Pittarelli, and Carson Pittarelli. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Stephen “Steve” Gallimore.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 28, at Tom’s Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Mr. David Fine officiating. Briggs Funeral Home in Denton is serving the Gallimore family. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.briggsfuneralhome.com.
