Candor-Raeford Thomas Linville, 67, of Privett Rd, Candor, died Sunday, July 3, 2016 at his residence. Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Thursday at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Kenneth Bloudin officiating. Burial will follow in the Candor Cemetery. Born in Chatham County on July 13, 1948, he was the son of Millard and Hazel Maness Williamson Linville. He was a former truck driver. He is survived by his wife, Mildred Linville of the home; sons, Jeffrey Linville of Seagrove and Tony Britt of Candor; 2 sisters, Mary Sue Spencer of Seagrove and Sandra K. Cockman of N. Myrtle Beach, SC; 2 brothers, Roger Williamson of Seagrove and Rainer Habfurther of Germany; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home Briggs-Candor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
