Priscilla Lamonds Evans

Mrs. Priscilla Ann Lamonds Evans age 71, of Small Rd. Biscoe died Sunday, July 13, 2014 at Duke University Medical Center in Durham. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday, July 15 at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Steve Jarman. Interment will follow in Candor Cemetery. Mrs. Evans was born July 20, 1942 in Montgomery County to David Edgar Lamonds and Gladys Freeman Lamonds. She was owner and operator of Sandhill Apparel Mill and a member of Candor Baptist Church. Priscilla was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Olin David Evans and by a brother; Herbert Lamonds. Surviving is daughter; Donna E. Dunn of Biscoe; son, David E. Evans of Biscoe; brothers, Charles, Eugene, James, Warren, Roger, Johnny, Hoyle, and Richard Lamonds; sisters; Eleanor Stutts and Mildred Linville; grandchildren, (2) Clinton Evan Garner and Jon Caleb Garner; great-grandchildren, (2) Lily Renee Evana Garner and Lexi Rayne Garner. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home and other times at the residence on Small Rd. in Biscoe.
