Priscilla Bowers Edwards

Mrs. Priscilla Ann Bowers Edwards, age 69, of Floyd Church Rd., Lexington died Monday, October 17 at the Brian Center in Lexington. Funeral service for Mrs. Edwards will be 1:00 pm Thursday, Oct. 20 at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Floyd Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton. Mrs. Edwards was born November 21, 1941 in Guilford County to Paul and Helen Richard Bowers. She had worked at Sew Special in Denton and Rags in Lexington. She was preceded in death by her father. Mrs. Edwards is survived by her husband James Edwards of the home, one son, David Young and wife Denise of High Point, step-son, Lee Edwards and wife Sheila of Denton, her mother, Helen Bowers of High Point, two brothers, Randall “Randy” Bowers of High Point and Darrell Bowers of Thomasville, one sister, Ann Whitten of Thomasville, three grandchildren, Travis, Tyler and Tiffany and one great-grandchild, Elizabeth.
