Phyllis Dean Davis Weaver, born on November 10, 1949, in Davidson County, NC, passed away peacefully at her residence on October 11, 2025. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Phyllis was a graduate of Denton High School and embarked on a fulfilling career in the healthcare field, where she worked as a receptionist for many years. Her vibrant spirit extended beyond her professional life; she passionately enjoyed selling pet supplies at the Webb Rd. Flea Market on weekends, a testament to her love for animals.
She is survived by her daughter, Dee Watkins and her husband Keith, who carry on her legacy of kindness and dedication. Phyllis was a proud grandmother to Keegan Watkins and his wife Akina, Briar Watkins, and a cherished great-grandmother to Malia Watkins. She is also survived by her sisters, Ruth Ann Pope and Shelvia Whitley and her husband Lane, along with her brother-in-law Barry Weaver and his wife Kathy. Phyllis held a special place in her heart for her numerous nieces and nephews, particularly her special niece, Renee Gallimore. Her beloved dog, Rowdy, brought joy and companionship to her later years.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her devoted husband Lewis "Michael" Weaver, her parents Ruffin Davis and Julia Tysinger Davis, and her sisters Kate Moore, Betty Sue Pierce, and Ruby Carrick. Each of these individuals played a significant role in her life, and her memory of them will always remain alive in the hearts of her family.
Phyllis Dean Davis Weaver's legacy of love, compassion, and laughter will endure through her family and friends, who are grateful for the time they shared with her.
