Phyllis Mitschke Roberts

Phyllis Mitschke Roberts, 77, of N. Fayetteville Street, Asheboro, died Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Randolph Health in Asheboro.  Graveside Service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at Derby Baptist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Todd Carpenter officiating.  The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 AM Wednesday prior to the service in the Derby Baptist Church.

Born in Moore County on January 18, 1947, she was the daughter of Robert Frederick and Edith Janelle Sheppard Mitschke.  She was a home maker.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel Quinton Roberts of the home; 1 son, Robert Frederick Lee of Seagrove; 2 daughters, Mary Elizabeth Arellano of Asheboro and Roberta Kay Lee of Norlina; 2 brothers, Robert Frederick Mitschke Jr. and Carl Mitschke; 11 grandchildren; a number of great grandchildren.
