Peggy Yates Cranford

Mrs. Peggy Yates Cranford, age 69 of Fitch Ave., Denton died Friday, Jan. 6 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Denton conducted by Rev. Jack Luther. Burial will follow in the Denton Town Cemetery. Mrs. Cranford was born August 9, 1936 in Davidson County to J. Clyde Yates and Jewel Henderson Yates. She was a retired employee of Surratt Hoisery Mill and a homemaker. She is survived by her husband Billy Cranford of the home and sisters, Mrs. Doris Bridges of Asheboro and Mrs. Barbara Hardister of Myrtle Beach, SC.
